
Everybody loves Cinnabon cinnamon rolls. This snack can be the best treat for your family or for yourself while sipping a cup of tea in the afternoon. This sweet and tasty treat is in fact easy to make. If you wish to taste homemade cinnamon rolls, you better try this Cinnabon recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ ounce dry yeast
- 1/3 cup margarine
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups flour
For filling:
- 2 ½ tbsp cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup margarine
For icing:
- 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
- 8 tbsp margarine
- ¼ cup cream cheese
- 1/8 tsp salt
- ½ tsp vanilla
Directions:
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk to make the rolls.
- Add margarine, sugar, salt, flour and eggs. Mix well.
- Knead the dough and make a large ball. Beforehand, dust your hand with flour lightly.
- Put the dough in a bowl and cover. Place in warm area and let it rise to double for 1 hour.
- On a floured surface, roll the dough for 21 inches long, 16 inches wide and ¼ thick.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Meanwhile, make the filling by combining cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Spread softened margarine over the dough and sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll the dough from long edge, down to the bottom.
- Cut into 1 ¾ inch slices and place in baking pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Make icing by beating all the icing ingredients. Beat until fluffy.
- When the rolls are ready, spread generously.
This recipe makes 12 servings and will be ready in 1 hr 10 minutes. You do not need to worry about your cooking skill since this Cinnabon recipe is pretty easy to make.
